1. Cannot competition start sheets be bracketed into handicap levels i.e. 1 - 10, 11 - 18 , 18 plus with lowest handicaps teeing off earliest ? Result ,surely, will be player satisfaction and quicker play.

2.Should the "2`s club" prize be capped at E10 and any surplus carried forward to the next competition and any remaining at the end of the season go toward the Xmas "do" ?

3.As tee times are more readily available now are there at least a dozen golfers who would ...

Renaming of Campoverde Golf Society

You will recall that during the recent AGM a vote was taken regarding the possible renaming of the Society. The majority voted to retain the current name. Despite this, the new committee still feels strongly in favour of calling the society THE NEW CAMPOVERDE GOLF SOCIETY, in order to differentiate themselves from the previous 'administration'. A new constitution is close to completion and the committee proposes to put the issue of a name-change to the vote once more.

Hola Golfers,

Is there anyone else apart from the person who made out the start sheet for the above dated comp think it is a good idea to put a 3 ball in the 9th out of tenth position on the start sheet?

Seems a bit odd when they will presumably be moving faster than fourballs!

One or two people I've spoken to asked if there were any plans to 'boost' the social side of the Society. Some of the ladies like to get 'dressed -up' now and again and enjoy a dance. Let's here your views.
